Hey all!!
I am gonna write today about Billy Chenowith, who happens to be a maniac artist and younger brother of Brenda on our favorite show Six Feet Under. Jeremy Sisto has enacted this character quite well, with all that aggressive and fanatic mannerisms.
For his bipolar disorder he undergoes extensive psychiatric treatment and medication but his problem is generally aggravated as he does not take his medicines when required. His condition is such that many a time harm is caused to his family as well.

You all may recall that in 1986, he had supposedly burned down a part of the family’s house. Then in another instance he created a tattoo with a box cutter on his back and tries to repeat the act to his sister. These tattoos were actually supposed to be Nathaniel and Isabel, their favorite fictional characters. Some people still believe that there was too much intimacy between the brother and sister when they were kids, even as the episode, Static proved otherwise.
Nevertheless, this incident forces his family to send him away to an institution. Not many people know that Billy was once a student and teacher at LAC - Arts, the same place where Claire Fisher completes her studies till the end of 2004. They both meet for the first time in 2001 at Brenda’s place and have a good instantaneous bonding, which Billy terminates later on. Even at the institute, he only interacts with Claire and no one else.
As he comes out, they re start their friendship, which leads to dating and even they live in for some time. However, some old friends of his tell him that he is no longer that good old Billy and stuff like that, and he thinks that his artistic sense is now missing. So he stops taking his medicines and Claire leaves him when he refuses to listen to the reason, for the sake of her safety. To get her back, Billy resumes his medication but she declines to come back. When Nate is dead, Billy remains with his sister but soon she asks him to leave. The closeness between the siblings remains till the end of the show Six Feet Under, and Billy is there with Brenda even in her last moments.

Hey all!!!
We going to discuss Vanessa Diaz today, a character brilliantly portrayed by Justine Machado in our beloved show Six Feet Under. She portrayed Federico’s better half, and love since high school. They have two sons as well, one named Augusto and other named Julio.
Profession wise, she is a registered nurse, who works at the Bay Breeze Nursing Home until 2002, when she is chucked out of her job for not observing that a patient’s roommate had killed him by choking him with a hot dog.

Even as she gets work in another hospital, Vanessa gets into clinical depression in 2003, after her mother’s demise and starts taking restricted medicines. As a result of this, her health worsens even affecting her relations which Rico as she gets more close to Angelica, her sister.
By the end of season 4, if you recall, Federico starts having an affair that leads to separation of the couple and the matter reaches the point of divorce. But Vanessa has to raise the kids, which she finds tough and also to live alone so she asks Rico to come back home and he too is happy to return.
Her character is quite vital in Six Feet Under, as all the decisions that Rico takes and the moods swings he has, are influenced by the thoughts planted by Vanessa who also encourages him later on to start off his very own funeral business.
The lovely couple is remains together till Federico dies when he reaches 75.
I think Vanessa’s character in Six Feet Under has been quite underrated by the critics and public as well. It has its ups and downs and has its own significance. Being the reckoning force behind Rico escalates her position furthermore.

Hey all!!!
An interesting character, I wish to pick up today for discussion is of George Sibley.
Enacted by James Cromwell, this character is of a geology professor, who later becomes the second husband of Ruth. He has had half a dozen wives before this wedding and even has some sort of past which Ruth does not know anything about.
George has had two children from one of his past marriages. Brian is his son and daughter Maggie is a representative of a pharmaceutical concern, a job that involves lot of travelling.
But then there is another kid he has, who is named Kyle. Actually as a student he had gotten a girl pregnant. Even as he had signed down his custody and Kyle was born a rich lad, he hates George a lot. So much so that he even parcels off feces at the home of Fishers. But soon the father and the son start to bond well, as Ruth intervenes.

But Ruth and George’s relation also does not last long. George has a nervous breakdown and is treated with shock therapy, because he still rues the event of 1953, when he was a kid and his mother killed herself. So Ruth has to bear a lot and before ultimately getting separated from him. But soon, he informs her of his eighth engagement. Ruth reveals everything to his fiancée about the past of George and the relationship ends.
When Nate dies, the couple gets together once again, with George taking care of Maya as well. They are on the verge of living together once again, but Ruth decides to remain independent and changes her decision. Maggie too moves away from him as she thinks that George is the cause of all the troubles in her life.
The end is good though. George lives away from Ruth but stays with her till later in her last times, until she passes away in the year 2025.
So, a character with just a tinge of humor but with strong portrayal of marital relations, that’s who George is.
